Why did I start too late???

Two years ago I used to say "I HATE TO READ". But my only experience reading was the books that my teacher in primary and high school undertook me to read and almost all off then was in my holiday. So its pretty understandable why I used to hate to read.
But once I was in Australia and I had a lot of free time in my way to work. First at all I used to listen music (I LOVE IT!) but my Ipod got broke and I was going crazy I use to spend more than one hour in the train just looking the same scenery. So one day I decide to take a book with me. THAT WAS THE BEST THING THAT I DID IT!
The first ones were book about life after death. I know sounds a little strange but I love this subject. It was so cool!!! I was really enjoying reading . And then I started to look for different subject I like.
I found Dan Brown I read two of his books in 1 month, "The Da Vince Code" and "Angels and Demons". Both talking about things that everybody has your own theory as like I have mine. But I really like his point of view. Another one AMAZING was "The Kite Runner - Khaled Hosseini" OH GOD!!!! You can not stop to read. It is a beautiful stroy plus in a real Afghanistan style. I missed trains, buses I was arriving late in my job just because I couldnt stop to read. For sure today it is one of my favorite hobby.
Now I know how it is good to read and I never more will stop.

See you,
Denise.

How I could do that?!?!

It was in 2003. I was 23, I had a very good job and I had finished my University so it was time to just wait my next good, very good actually, promotion. But I was every stressful, under pressure after all I was working and studing in the same time for 4 years, weekend?!?!?! I didn`t know what was it because it was the only time that I had to do my final assignment, which one, I spent whole year doing. So I decided to travel and learn another language, I hadn`t been nowhere before also Brazil I didn`t know. And it was that time to do something or never more I could, because my promotion meant more money and for sure it would be hader to leave the job that I liked very much as well. Between my decision util I came to Australia it was exactly 2 month. That was very funny because I told to everybody my plan and then 2 month later i was coming. Noboby could believe when I send e-mail calling everyone to my farewell party. It was a BIG party. And two days later I was arriving in Sydney but that is another longe, funny and scary story. Why?!?! I could speak ANY English also I didn`t know nobody over there. =))

Have a good week!!!
Denise.
